In 2013, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta earned the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Gold certification for its efficient energy and water use. ATS Waypoint integrated the building’s existing power monitoring system into a Niagara AX building control system, which replaced a legacy Siemens Apogee system. ATS also created an “energy dashboard” that displays metered data on energy usage and trend data on its usage over time. The integration of energy monitoring capabilities into the BAS gives the building operations team a true sense of the size of their environmental footprint, allowing them to continue to work towards lowering their overall energy consumption.
